Final defense

At the end of their third year, upon fulfillment of the requirements, students are admitted to the thesis defense. Once handed in, the dissertation is submitted to two external referees, whose reports may provide suggestions for possible revision of parts of the thesis. Once the final version of the thesis is handed in, the Board appoints the Defense Committee, whose Chairperson is a member of the Board and the other members are chosen among international experts on the topic of the dissertation.
